Plagne Bellecote gondola tc: The aging Belle Plagne / Roche de Mio Plagne Bellecôte tc gondola lift must be one of the oldest lifts still in use in a major ski area and really is in dire need of an upgrade. Thankfully, works are rumoured to begin on replacing this lift but, for now, it’s a lift to be avoided if you can manage it. During the busy holiday periods, queues here can be horrendous. In truth, if you’re looking to access the areas this gondola reaches, a far better option is to take the much quieter Blanchets followed by the short Quillis blue and then the fast Carella chair. The aging Belle Plagne gondola is mostly considered the first stage of the long Roche de Mio gondola which ascends to the summit of the same name
From the top of Roche de Mio, skiers and snowboarders can go to the glacier sector or ride the Champagny or Plagne Bellecote sectors of La Plagne
