It’s dominated by wide, confidence-building blue and red pistes, making it ideal for relaxed cruising and steady progression. On the piste map, the Grande Rochette area (also referred to as Plagne Centre) includes the slopes served by Plagne Soleil, Plagne Villages and Plagne Centre.
Because of its central position and excellent lift links, Grande Rochette is also a major crossroads between several La Plagne sectors, so pistes here can feel busy during peak holiday weeks.
