Biolley Aime 2000 intermediate pistes: The blue runs around the Aime 2000 sector of La Plagne have a tremendous vista directly across the Isère valley towards Mont Blanc as well as views over the main Grande Rochette sector and up to the Glacier area. Better yet, for improving learners staying in Aime 2000, many of the blue pistes here are right at your back door and are, mostly, served by fast and efficient detachable chairlifts meaning more skiing and snowboarding and less time spent riding up.
Try the excellent Golf blue for honing skills or take a longer ride down to La Roche on the winding Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) piste to catch the Roche chair back up. Visit the iRide / LaPlagne360 YouTube channel for more info.

Quick tip: If you’re skiing the Biolley blues, decent boots and properly set-up skis or snowboard make a big difference to confidence and progression. Booking in advance usually means better prices online, more choice and a much smoother start once you get to resort.
This is exactly the sort of terrain where comfortable equipment helps you relax, link turns properly and get more from every lap.

Quick tip: Blue pistes are where many skiers and snowboarders start building speed and confidence, which also means this is where tumbles, collisions and awkward twists often happen. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you even on marked runs, so it’s worth sorting proper cover before you head up.
Good ski insurance helps cover medical treatment, lift evacuation and cancellation if something goes wrong before or during your holiday.
