Plagne Bellecôte lifts: The Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio sector is one of the busiest parts of La Plagne, thanks to its central position and easy access to the glacier. Even so, the uplift generally copes well with demand — especially since the introduction of the new Roche de Mio gondola.
Queues are still common around the Bellecôte hub first thing in the morning and during holiday weeks. The Arpette lift in particular can get very busy, as it’s the main route out towards the Montchavin sector and on to Les Arcs.

Quick tip: Bellecôte is one of the busiest parts of the resort, with lots of skier traffic moving through the central hub and up towards higher terrain. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you even on marked pistes, so proper cover is worth sorting before your trip.
Good ski insurance helps cover medical treatment, lift evacuation and cancellation if something goes wrong before or during your holiday.
