Plagne Bellecote beginner pistes. While many advanced skiers or snowboarders might claim green pistes are all much of a muchness, most people realise some runs are better to learn on than others. As well as obvious factors like gradient, proximity to bars and restaurants (to take a break) and an easy-to-ride lift will help beginner skiers and snowboarders progress and gain confidence much quicker, while good views are also kind of nice.
The Plagne Bellecôte green pistes have two out of three and are some of La Plagne’s best beginner areas (the views aren’t great this low down but everything else fits). Check the iRide / LaPlagne360 YouTube channel for more.

Quick tip: Even on marked pistes, accidents happen. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you. Proper ski insurance covers lift evacuation, medical care and cancellation if something goes wrong.
If you haven’t arranged cover yet, it’s worth sorting before your trip.
