Biolley Aime 2000 fixed chairlifts télésiege TSF: Thankfully, both of the fixed chairlifts in the Biolley / Aime 2000 sector of La Plagne are mercifully short. This older style of chair is extremely noticeable given the predominance of faster, detachable chairs in the resort – although it could be argued the Golf chair is perhaps forgivable as it serves a mostly beginner area.
That said, riding the Golf lift, you’ll likely end up wishing you’d caught the much quicker Roche chair instead as it runs alongside it for almost its total length.

Quick tip: Even on shorter, slower lifts and around beginner areas, accidents can still happen. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you even on marked pistes, so proper cover is worth sorting before your trip.
Good ski insurance helps cover medical treatment, lift evacuation and cancellation if something goes wrong before or during your holiday.
