Grande Rochette Plagne Centre gondola Télécabine (TC): The Funiplagne Grande Rochette gondola télécabine lift rises out of Plagne Centre and gives access to the majority of pistes in the Grande Rochette sector which encompasses Centre, Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil.
From the summit, it’s also possible to drop over into the Champagny network of pistes as well as make your way over to the Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio area and Plagne Bellecôte as well as Belle Plagne. For these reasons, this mammoth gondola is probably the most important lift in the whole of La Plagne and a flagship of the resort itself.

Quick tip: Grande Rochette is one of the key gateways to a huge chunk of La Plagne, including routes towards Champagny and Belle Plagne. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you even on marked pistes, so it’s worth sorting proper cover before your trip.
Good ski insurance helps cover medical treatment, lift evacuation and cancellation if something goes wrong before or during your holiday.
