Lying below Grande Rochette and connected to Aime 2000 cable car, Plagne Centre is very much the heart of La Plagne and where you’ll find the majority of bars, restaurants, shops and amenities. While this satellite isn’t particularly visually appealing, the huge range of accommodation and convenience of slopeside bars, restaurants, apartments, chalets and hotels more than makes up for Plagne Centre’s lack of aesthetics. The huge Front de Neige plays host to a number of fast, high-capacity lifts that give easy connections to the other La Plagne sectors, making Centre the most convenient place to stay. Centre also houses the main La Plagne bus terminus so getting down the valley or across to the other villages is easiest from here. Couple that with the great pistes flowing down from Grande Rochette and Biolley (plus the diverse range of bars and eateries) and it’s easy to see why Plagne Centre is the preferred option for many people when it comes to a holiday in La Plagne.
