Plagne Villages has very little in the way of night-time entertainment – and even the accommodation tends to be apartments with private owners or saisonaires. If convenience skiing or snowboarding is your priority, then you’ll be ok but, otherwise, staying here frequently involves a trek down the Écartée piste to Plagne Soleil. Indeed, even if you stay home and decide to buy food and drink in for your apartment, the supermarket is located at the bottom of the resort which could mean a hike back up to your digs. While it is also possible to make the walk up or down to Plagne Centre, remember this takes considerably than when you’re on skis – and really isn’t advisable after a few beers.
