The Écartée is traditionally one of the busiest pistes in La Plagne – served by the equally busy Bergerie detachable chair. No matter what level you are, chances are you’ll have skied or snowboarded (or will ride) this ride when you’re in resort – particularly if you’re staying in Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil or Plagne 1800.

Watch this video to get a top to bottom of the Écartée piste, filmed on an exceptionally quiet series of days towards the end of the season. Note – despite the Bergerie lift being high-speed, this lift frequently gets rammed in busier times of the season and, along with the Arpette lift in Bellecôte usually holds the unique distinction of being the busiest lifts in La Plagne. For this reason, it makes our list of La Plagne lifts to avoid.
