Alps snow report 15/01/26

Yet another great snow report by the excellent Chamonix Ski Bum which gives an idea of snow in the area around La Plagne and the Alpine regions. Ok, so this is actually from Chamonix but he does a great job of detailing Alpine areas and giving you a *real* idea of conditions. Sadly, there are no meaningful snow reports anymore in La Plagne – and unfortunately I can’t do them due to a course of physiotherapy from knee injuries. But it’s not all bad – follow ChamonixSkiBum – one of the very few snow reporters who takes the time to detail conditions and film them as they are. This is exactly how snow reports should look when they’re done with care and attention.

La Plagne snow report

This video details current snow conditions around the Alps and, in particular, the avalanches that have been a genuine danger over the last few days. ChamonixSkiBum takes a no fluff approach – just real, engaging and informative snow reporting.
