Biolley-lift-Telemetro-1200x675.jpg

The Biolley lift Télémetro is a purely pedestrian cable car lift out Plagne Centre up to the satellite of Aime 2000. The 26 person cabins normally operate from 07.50 until 01.00 and link the two stations in around 4 minutes. Note – this lift can get exceptionally busy late at night so arrive in good time to avoid having to make the walk between Centre and Aime.

Top tip – if you’re on a budget, you can technically ride this lift for free and ride from Aime down to Plagne Centre. Not exactly the best way to spend a holiday – but an option for the ridiculously cash-strapped (you should have probably stayed at home if you’re actually too skint to afford a lift pass).

Pros
  • Queues rare
  • Runs late – use bus link later
  • Useful link between Centre & Aime
Cons
  • When it’s busy, it’s very busy
