La Plagne 25/26 season dates
Main season opening and the opening weekend
The full La Plagne (and Paradiski) ski area is scheduled to open on Saturday 13 December 2025 with a festive party held at the front de neige of Plagne Bellecôte on 13 December. The resort will hold an après-ski village with DJ sets and entertainment to mark the start of the season, so expect a lively vibe on and off the slopes (more info below).

La Plagne 2025/26 season dates
For winter 2025/26 the planned ski area dates are:
- La Plagne ski area: 13 December 2025 to 25 April 2026
- Paradiski full area: 13 December 2025 to 25 April 2026
These dates are the official season window but, as always, openings and closures at the very start and end of the season can be affected by snow conditions. After the recent dumps, snow most certainly should not be an issue. However, towards the tail end of the season, some of the lower villages may stop running their local lifts slightly earlier even while the high altitude sector remains open. This is particularly true of the south-facing lower slopes of Champagny-en-Vanoise.

Plagne Bellecôte opening party
The snow front of Plagne Bellecôte has been selected as the venue for the opening party – a location that will also serve as an easy way to highlight the new Roche de Mio gondola development. This area has been used for multiple events in the past, including the famed Pompon Rouge New Year festivities. So far, La Plagne has confirmed the following music schedule running from 16.30 until 22.00.
- 16.30 – 18:30 : DJ VINC – Local entertainer, warm up the après-ski.
- 18.30 – 20.30pm: KEYS BANDIT – French Red Bull 3Style Champion, offering an explosive mix of hip-hop, electro and funk to really get the party started.
- 20:30 – 22:00: BORIS WAY – Headlining with an explosive electro show not to be missed.
- 22:00: Village closes.
There will also be various food and drink stalls available, selling all sorts of local delicacies including génépi and beaufortain produce.
