The Mont de La Guerre piste in the Champagny sector of La Plagne is rated by many locals as being the best run in the resort – partly due to the astounding views available as you enter the main part of the run.

After a long traversing section on a pathway that seems to go on forever, you suddenly round a turning to the right to be met with astounding views.  This vista takes in the valley that separates Champagny-en-Vanoise village from the towering peaks of Les Trois Vallées. Despite being separate resorts, these seem within touching distance. This is undoubtedly one of the most impressive views in all of La Plagne and should not be missed.

The endless expanse of Courchevel stretching into Méribel with the Belleville valley peaks in the distance is a vista to behold. As far as ‘green with envy’ selfie opportunities go, you won’t find many better in La Plagne.
