Tarentaise snow report 04/01/26
Another week with very little snowfall and conditions are starting to suffer as a result. Because there are no meaningful snow reports coming out of La Plagne anymore (and I can’t provide reports due to knee physiotherapy), below is an honest report of conditions in La Plagne’s neighbouring resorts – Val d’Isère, Tignes, and Sainte-Foy produced by the excellent FreeFloFloss. While Val and Sainte-Foy are different areas to La Plagne, they’re still close enough to give a pretty accurate review of current snow conditions.

La Plagne snow report
Despite the early dump back in early December, there’s been very little new snow now for around four and a half weeks. While there’s generally a good base, conditions are now becoming hard and scraped in many places. This is particularly evident in the lower resorts which are really suffering.
