While La Plagne might only have two télécorde TCD rope tows, both serve an important function. In particular, the short, two-stage Replat rope tow high above Montchavin village gives access to the Montchavin sector and saves walking along the flat plateau.
The other located at the bottom of the first stage of the Levasset blue piste is often overlooked by skiers and snowboarders but will also save the short walk across the slightly uphill stretch that links this piste into the Champagny-en-Vanoise runs above Champagny village.
