Biolley lift Envers
The Envers chair was plagued with problems since it was built and only opened at the tail-end of the 16/17 season. It remained closed for the majority of winter 17/18, only reopening midway through the 18/19 season.
Envers replaced an older chair, Coqs. It is a pivotal link tow out from the Montalbert sector up to Aime 2000 and saves skiers and snowboarders here from having to ride the long Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) blue to the base of the Roche chair at La Roche to ride the plethora of pistes in the Biolley Aime 2000 sector of La Plagne. While it’s good this lift has re-opened, for such an important link chair, it’s uncomfortable with spartan seats and a very basic safety bar. Once on, the bar locks in place so don’t panic when you reach the top and find you can’t pull it up – you need to wait until the locking mechanism is deactivated as you enter the top station.
Envers is primarily used as an access lift into the main area but pistes directly from the top include Golf blue, Sapin blue and Palsembleu black.
