La Plagne Aime 2000 best blue runs
This video features a selection of the best blue pistes in and around the La Plagne Aime 2000 Biolley sector – an area which is often overlooked by riders who tend to congregate around Centre, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Bellecôte. It also features one of La Plagne’s longest blue pistes – the Edmond Blanchoz (formerly known as Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille)).
Aime 2000 also has some of La Plagne’s fastest lifts including the long Roche, Envers and Becoin. You’ll also ride the Mélèzes, Plagne 1800 and Golf chairs to make your way around the area.
One of the standouts of this route is you’ll get down to one of La Plagne’s lowest areas at La Roche which will also allow you to see the La Plagne Olympic Bobsleigh track. It also opens up a side of the resort that many people never visit – plus has some of La Plagne’s best views.

The best times to ride La Plagne Aime 2000 / Biolley pistes
The higher runs around Aime 2000 are, as you might expect, all above the crucial 2000m mark so good snow is virtually guaranteed through the season. However, conditions lower down at La Roche can be considerably less reliable and the lower sections of the pistes around the village often get icy – a point worth bearing in mind if you’re not that confident skiing or snowboarding hard snow – or have little ones in tow. If conditions are deteriorating, it’s often a good idea to cut your descent short by taking the Envers chair rather than riding all the way down to the Roche chair.
