Bellecôte glacier piste Lanche Ronde
The Bellecôte glacier piste Lanche Ronde is a short red run coming off the left side of the Châlet de Bellecôte lift at the base of La Plagne’s glacier area.
The Lanche Ronde piste is fairly shallow at the start before dropping to steeper terrain as you pass under the chair. It’s an enjoyable – if short – alternative to the blue Frêtes piste, which it joins at the bottom. Note, there is much steeper terrain skier’s right as you ride down, just before the bend – though beware the flat run-out at the bottom.
Pros
- A decent red run
- Great scenery from the top
- Easy-access off-piste options exist close by
Cons
- Very, very short
- Slow chair back up
