Biolley-lift-Roche-1200x675.jpg

The Biolley lift Roche is a very long, very fast chair that links the lower village of La Roche (located just below the Olympic bobsleigh track) with Aime 2000. It also gives access to the Golf blue and Sapin blue at the top as well as Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) blue and the André Martzolf red or Emile Allais red a little further down.

Marzolf, Allais and Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) all flow back down its base and are all enjoyable runs – though can be prone to ice in low-snow times of the season. With the Envers chair back up and running, queues here have largely been eliminated and wait times are now mainly short – although this is still one of La Plagne’s fastest chairlifts.

Pros
  • Long, fast chair
  • Great scenery
  • High speed, high capacity
  • Gives access to equally long runs
Cons
  • Despite being high capacity, this lift still gets busy
