Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Biolley lift Stade lift out of Aime 2000 accesses a very short blue piste – which is really more part of the Pavane blue run. It’s difficult to know the point of this tow as it doesn’t really go anywhere and doesn’t really access anything that isn’t easily reached from other lifts and runs.

That said, this short poma is normally very quiet – probably for the reasons noted above. If you’re just starting out and prefer to keep your runs on the short side, perhaps you’ll find use here but, really, there are far better beginner/intermediate runs nearby in the Biolley Aime 2000 sector that are easily accessed by other lifts and runs in this area. Also, the extending rope tow style is frequently tricky for beginners who could find chairs or fixed-pole drag lifts easier.

Pros
  • Good beginner lift
  • Slow lift back up
  • Very close to Aime 2000
Cons
  • Extending rope tow is more difficult for beginners
