The Champagny piste Borseliers red run rarely gets busy – despite being a great gradient for intermediate / advanced riders who want to lay out long, lazy carving turns. After a few times, the run can start feeling a bit samey as it’s more of a traditional, straight up and down piste with little in the way of deviations or terrain – but it can still be fun.

Most riders use this run to get back over to the Verdons Sud chair and thereafter into the Grande Rochette sector with Plagne Centre at its heart. Note, there are often race gates to be found skiers’ far right from the top – though this area is commonly roped-off for race training practice.

Pros
  • Wide open piste
  • Great for carving
  • Very fast
  • Never busy
  • Quite long
  • Varying gradient
  • Incredible scenery
  • Very accessible off-piste after fresh snow
Cons
  • Lack of terrain
  • Straight up & down
  • Lift back can get busy
