Sérac blue piste: Sérac is probably the steepest of the three blue pistes that fan out from the top of the Rossa chair. Alongside Rossa and Crépines, it’s a gloriously wide motorway piste with a forgiving gradient — ideal for early intermediates, or anyone wanting to practise new skills (or brush up on old ones).
It’s also up there with the best blue runs in La Plagne.

La Plagne intermediate piste Sérac: After a short pitch at the top, the piste eases off — but it cants noticeably left in the upper section, then right in the lower half.
As with all runs in the Champagny sector, the views over Trois Vallées, Pralognan and Grande Casse are properly special.
The run also passes right by one of the best on-hill stops in La Plagne — the Roc des Blanchets — with a massive terrace and a ridiculous, jaw-dropping vista.

Quick tip: Champagny is one of the most rewarding sectors in La Plagne, but it still makes sense to sort your equipment before you arrive. Booking online usually means better prices, better availability and a much smoother first morning once you get to resort.
Choose a shop close to your accommodation so collecting your gear is quick and easy before heading up the mountain.

Quick tip: Even straightforward pistes can change quickly with weather, visibility and traffic. Good cover means lift evacuation, medical help and rescue costs are handled if something goes wrong — which in the Alps can otherwise be expensive.
If you haven’t sorted cover yet, it’s worth doing before your trip.
