Development plans for Plagne Aime 2000
As well as upgrades to the existing lift infrastructure (e.g. the new Lovatière lift out of Plagne Centre up to Les Verdons and the various changes to Plagne Bellecôte glacier), La Plagne is making considerable investment to Aime 2000.
Depending on your particular aesthetic taste, Aime 2000 (also known as ‘the battleship) is either an architectural blight on the mountains or a triumph of ski in/ski out functionality. Regardless, it also offers significant scope for the resort to increase accommodation capacity and, along with La Roche, seems the resort’s next target for redevelopment.

Whether these works affect your next La Plagne ski or snowboard holiday depends largely on where you’re staying but you can view the video below to get an idea of what’s planned. Incidentally, this video is in French but, through the wonders of YouTube, you can easily turn on subtitles in English.
