La Plagne’s Le Monicas bar and restaurant is located next to the Écartée piste that runs between Plagne Soleil and Plagne Villages. The bar is popular through the day due to its huge sun terrace.
While the aprés is definitely more understated here than the other mountain bars, it can still be a good place to stop – particularly if you’re staying in this part of the resort.
If you miss the last lift back, you can always bus it to Plagne Centre to connect into the main La Plagne shuttle network that will get you home. Those staying in Plagne 1800 can ski/snowboard home.
As with other aprés bars in La Plagne, when the sun drops behind Grande Rochette, it can get seriously cold here. However you always have the option of going indoors to the restaurant or downstairs to Monicas bar. The bar area might be small but it normally has a good atmosphere.
