La Plagne Champagny intermediate pistes guide: If you’re looking for great advancing beginner and intermediate riding, the Champagny sector of La Plagne has it in abundance with the Champagny blue pistes – and, because this area traditionally stays much quieter than the areas on the front of the mountain, you should also largely avoid crammed pistes. Throw in great views, fantastic restaurants and fast lifts and Champagny is, for many, the best area in La Plagne.

Quick tip: Even on marked pistes, accidents can (and sadly do) happen — especially when covering big distances or skiing unfamiliar terrain. In France, mountain rescue and evacuation can be charged directly to you.
