Glacier pistes: The Bellecôte Glacier sits at the very top of the La Plagne ski area and delivers some of the highest and most dramatic terrain in the whole of Paradiski. The glacier isn’t always open, but when it is you’ll find wide, exposed pistes, reliable high-altitude snow and fantastic views right across the Tarentaise.
Several of La Plagne’s black runs are found up here, although the challenge usually comes more from the altitude and weather exposure than the gradients themselves. However, while the on-piste options aren’t that massively difficult, this area is also the launch point for some of La Plagne’s best off-piste, including the famous North Face.
