Grande Rochette / Plagne Centre beginner pistes: The Grande Rochette area of La Plagne is the go-to zone for many riders visiting the area and it also has the benefit of having some of the best beginner terrain located right next to the bars and restaurants of Plagne Centre. As novice areas go, there can be few more conveniently located than those around the base station that provide a great atmosphere for novice skiers and snowboarders – and are served by equally easy lifts.

Of particular note is the Boulevard green that goes under a hotel and road bridge with access provided by the slow Boulevard chair – perfect for learning skiing or snowboarding. Check the iRide / LaPlagne360 YouTube channel for more info.
