Plagne Montalbert advanced pistes: The pistes down to Plagne Montalbert village through the trees are rather similar to the Montchavin pistes, but with one crucial difference – this area is by far the quietest in all of La Plagne so is a great place to head when the resort is busy or when there’s fresh snow. Fresh tracks are possible here longer plus the trees help break up snow and cloud.
Of particular note are the Bois Croizelin, Fornelet and Stade red pistes which, with a little creativity, can give you a red descent down almost the entire Montalbert sector. Check the iRide / LaPlagne360 YouTube channel for more info.
