Montchavin red pistes: While none of the red pistes in the trees above Montchavin village should pose a particular challenge for advanced skiers and snowboarders, they are still some of the most enjoyable in all of La Plagne with tremendous views over the Isère valley to Mont Blanc far in the distance. The Montchavin sector also has the added bonus of being one of the best when it comes to easily accessible La Plagne off-piste skiing and snowboarding – plus the protection of trees for better visibility on bad weather days.
