La Plagne Plagne 1800 village amenities: The accommodation in Plagne 1800 is mainly in chalets and hotels, which has a huge influence on the type of entertainment you can find down here as many people prefer to stay home at night. That said, there are still good bars and restaurants to be found here – just not in the same abundance as Plagne Centre above.
The architecture in Plagne 1800 tends to be far more sympathetic and more in keeping with what you’d expect from an Alpine resort. Connecting up to Centre above is relatively easy by bus – and the same route also takes in Plagne Bellecôte should you wish to explore that side. In terms of the lifts, connections are somewhat limited and queues are likely most mornings at the Mélézes chair (in the direction of Centre) and the 1800 chair (heading up to Aime 2000). Similarly, runs back at the end of the day can get slightly crowded.
