It’s also easy to get to La Plagne by train from Geneva or Chambéry. Due to the mountainous terrain, rail routes follow a very similar path to the main roads.
Once you arrive in Aime in the valley, you’ll need to take one of the La Plagne valley buses up to resort – or take a taxi or pre-booked transfer. Unless you’re staying down in La Plagne’s valley resorts, the last part of the journey to La Plagne always involves climbing the hill road.
