This live webcam looks out from the Live 3000 area on the Bellecôte Glacier, the highest point in La Plagne. At 3,000m, it’s one of the quickest ways to judge current visibility, cloud cover, wind and fresh snowfall before you head for higher lifts and more exposed terrain.

It’s especially useful on changeable days, when the lower villages can sit under fog while conditions up high are clearer (or the other way round). If you’re deciding whether to head up early, this is the webcam to check first.

The La Plagne Live 3000 cam gives you a high-altitude snapshot that lower webcams simply can’t. It helps you confirm whether the upper mountain is in cloud, whether the glacier is being hit by strong winds and whether there’s been fresh snow overnight.

If it looks clear here, upper lifts and high terrain are usually good to go. If it’s greyed out or blowing hard, you’ll often have a better day sticking to mid-mountain pistes and tree-lined runs until conditions settle.
