Plagne Bellecôte piste Inversens
Inversens leaves from just below the summit of Roche de Mio and is accessed from the Roche de Mio gondola, Carella chair or Inversens chair. It flows naturally off the top section of the Levasset blue (take the furthest right piste near the Inversens restaurant). In truth, there’s nothing particularly difficult about the Inversens red piste and many could argue it should be rated blue.
The redevelopment of the Inversens chair for season 2018/19 helped open up this area as riding here previously involved a tortuously slow trip back up on an aging fixed-grip chairlift. Things have since changed however with the new chair and this area has become a lot more popular. There is also a wealth of easily accessible off-piste here – a lot of which is very close to the runs. Bigger challenges exist over the roped-off cornice area – though this area has some serious cliffs so you will definitely need a guide.
There is talk of a new chairlift being built from the bottom of this chair linking over to the top of Crozats chair however, for now, the Inversens run terminates at the top of the Crozats black – the only route out other than taking the Inversens chair back up.
