Plagne Bellecôte piste Ours: Ours is one of those runs you’ll often ride without even noticing — the Bellecôte / Belle Plagne bowl is a bit of a flowy maze where pistes blend into each other.
The official start is just below the boardercross and snow park. You find it by going straight on after Les Blanchets (even though you’ll probably still think you’re on the same run). From there, Ours runs between the Stade de Slalom (skier’s right) and the Col de Forcle drag lift before widening and dropping into the main Bellecôte lift hub.

La Plagne intermediate piste Ours: This is a really solid ‘cruise back to the hub’ piste — wide, friendly, and usually easy to manage. The only time it feels hectic is right near the bottom where everything funnels into Bellecôte.
Gradient-wise it’s very manageable — improving beginners and early intermediates should feel right at home. After fresh snow, there are loads of playful lines just metres off the piste that make a good, relatively safe introduction to off-piste riding (without needing to disappear into anything sketchy).
Top tip: if it’s busy, keep your head up for faster riders coming through, and give ski schools a bit of space. Otherwise, it’s a great run for working on cleaner turns and speed control.

Quick tip: Terrain varies a lot across La Plagne, and the wrong setup can turn an easy day into hard work. Booking ski or snowboard hire in advance means the right kit is ready, sizes are available and rental prices are cheaper online — plus you can choose a shop close to where you’re staying.

Ours blue piste: A forgiving, wide blue into Bellecôte with fun side lines after fresh snow — just expect the bottom to feel busy and a bit chaotic at times.
| Pros | Cons |

| Often doesn’t feel busy mid-run |
Quick tip: Even straightforward pistes can change quickly with weather, visibility and traffic. Good cover means lift evacuation, medical help and rescue costs are handled if something goes wrong — which in the Alps can otherwise be expensive.
If you haven’t sorted cover yet, it’s worth doing before your trip.
