Plagne Montalbert piste Adrets
The Plagne Montalbert piste Adrets blue runs starts at the Fornelet summit high above Plagne Montalbert and winds its way down to the foot of the Envers chair and Adrets chair. The route is mainly used as a link run between the Montalbert sector and the Biolley / Aime 2000 area, via either the Envers chair or the Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) blue down to La Roche.
The top features a decent, flat motorway section heading right through the trees before the pitch changes slightly as the run starts to turn back towards the main area (you can also turn off here to take the shorter Mur des Adrets red). The short steeper section of the Adrets blue then funnels into a pathway that takes you to the foot of the two chairlifts.
Most riders will then either take the Envers chair up to join the main area or alternatively follow the Edmond Blanchoz (formerly Cornegidouille) blue down to La Roche and take the Roche chair up to Aime 2000 (also linking into the main area). You could also take the Adrets chair back up – but, really, this run isn’t worth doing over and over.
- Usually quiet
- Enjoyable run thru trees
- Links Montalbert to rest of the area
- Busy early morning
- Can get icy
- More of a link run
