Plagne Montalbert piste Maignonne

New-Project-2021-08-17T192257.260-1200x675.jpg

Maignonne is tucked away on the far right of the piste map, at the far extremities of the La Plagne area. Access is also suitably obscure, via the top section of the Pralioud blue run which branches off the main Montalbert blue piste. After the first long right on Pralioud, look for the run dropping away to the left.

This short red piste isn’t particularly challenging (particularly given its grading) – though it does provide yet another possibility for getting lost in the Montalbert sector‘s rabbit warren of runs. At the bottom, going left eventually links you back onto the bottom of Pralioud. Going right is more direct, dropping you onto the lower section of the Fornelet red.

Pros
  • Run through the trees
  • Always quiet
Cons
  • Difficult to reach
  • Blues before and after
  • Better, longer reds here
