Plagne Montalbert piste Pralioud
The Pralioud blue is one of many snaking tree runs in the Montalbert sector, best suited to confident beginners and early intermediates. Access is via a rather obscure turn-off a short way down the main Montalbert blue which goes from the top of the area down to Plagne Montalbert village.
To find Pralioud, follow the Montalbert blue past the turn-off at the Bois Croizelin red (the Montalbert piste turns left), complete another four turns through the trees until the piste widens into a bowl-like section. The temptation will be to go straight on but instead turn sharply to the left to join Pralioud. From here, keep following the most direct path for another four switchback turns to complete the run.
Pralioud terminates near the car park and buildings a little further down – where you can head left and take the road crossing to join the Gentil blue or go straight on to rejoin the Montalbert blue. For kids, the runs through the trees above Montalbert are an absolute joy with their wooden statues – though even adults will likely enjoy the novelty.
