Plagne Montalbert piste Roclisse

New-Project-2021-08-17T191047.953-1200x675.jpg

The Plagne Montalbert piste Roclisse red can either be used as a short, steeper break from the Montalbert blue (it cuts out some of the run taking a more direct route down) or is a full run itself down to near the base of Plagne Montalbert village (it joins the bottom of the Pravendue blue).

The Roclisse run drops away right from a corner section of the Montalbert blue before turning left then right. At the right turn, there is an option to head back towards the Montalbert blue where the run naturally flows onto the Plantés blue run. Alternatively, sticking to the main run takes you back to the Pravendue piste which then traverses back to the top of the Montalbert drag lift.

Pros
  • Fun red thru the trees
  • Alternative off Mt Blanc
  • Usually quiet
  • Great after fresh snow
  • Great in bad weather
  • Easy access off-piste
  • Near good tree riding
Cons
  • Easy to miss
  • Joins flat Pravendue
  • In shade – a lot
