Where are the best ski areas in La Plagne? Most people would agree the best areas in La Plagne are the Montchavin and the Champagny sectors – certainly they offer the more variety and longest runs. However, this depends a lot on your level and the type of skiing or snowboarding you enjoy most.

To discover best ski areas in La Plagne and work out where you like most, try taking the route below which will show you the best of La Plagne. The route includes a couple of red pistes but is otherwise completely on blue runs (and even the reds aren’t that tricky). Note – the Les Bois piste to Champagny was recently re-graded as black. However, you can easily avoid doing this run by taking the Borseliers chair (in the video, skip the section between 3:34 and 4:07).

Depending on your ability (recommended for early intermediates and above), you should be able to complete this track easily in a single day.
