Where are the best ski areas in La Plagne? Most people would agree the best areas in La Plagne are the Montchavin and the Champagny sectors – certainly they offer the more variety and longest runs. However, this depends a lot on your level and the type of skiing or snowboarding you enjoy most.

The route includes a couple of red pistes but is otherwise completely on blue runs (and even the reds aren’t that tricky). Note – the Les Bois piste to Champagny was recently re-graded as black. However, you can easily avoid doing this run by taking the Borseliers chair (in the video, skip the section between 3:34 and 4:07).

Depending on your ability (recommended for early intermediates and above), you should be able to complete this track easily in a single day.
