Champagny lift Rossa
From the top of the Rossa chair, riders can access three of La Plagne’s best beginner / early intermediate runs – plus an easy boardercross track. You also have options to join back into the main area taking the Tome piste down to the Quillis chair (to get directly to Plagne Bellecôte or Belle Plagne) or the Carella chair (for the higher Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio pistes).
Most riders use the Rossa chair as a return route from the long Levasset piste so the three blue runs it accesses normally stay quiet (Rossa / Sérac / Crépines). The chair itself normally handles this traffic well in all but the busiest holiday weeks. This area also offers some of La Plagne’s best scenery.
Also of note is the Roc des Blanchets restaurant – located near the base station of the chair on the rider’s left as you’re riding down. This restaurant has a huge open terrace with dramatic views over Trois Vallées and Grande Casse, the highest mountain in the area. It’s also one of La Plagne’s best mountain restaurants to stop for a break.
