The Montchavin lift Télébufette is another access lift, this time out of the lower reaches of Montchavin Les Coches up to the base of the Lac Noir gondola. It is mainly used by beginner skiers or snowboarders wanting to access the Sauget beginner’s area a little higher up. In most cases, if you’re staying in Les Coches, you’d be far quicker just taking the Plan Bois chair up.

Pros
  • Easy access out of Les Coches
  • Provides a different option to taking Plan Bois out of the village (Lac Noir is at the top)
Cons
  • This is very much an access lift
  • Unless queues are huge, most riders would be better just taking Plan Bois
