Plagne Bellecôte lift Col de Forcle
The Plagne Bellecôte lift Col de Forcle is a long, extending pole drag lift out of the Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio sector next to Belle Plagne and a little above Plagne Bellecôte which gives access to most of the Belle Plagne bowl, including the freestyle park and the Leitchoums blue. However, a much-overlooked aspect of this tow is it can also be used as a very quick, very quiet way of getting into the Champagny sector over the back on the hugely enjoyable Geisha blue piste.
If you’re staying in Belle Plagne, a top tip to avoid excessive queues on the typical Bellecôte hub of lifts is to take the short ride from the top of the village down to the Belle Plagne carpet, then head right and ride down to the foot of the poma. Taking this route, you’ll be making turns while everyone else is still stuck in queues as this lift never gets busy.
The Col de Forcle is currently marked as difficult – however, that’s more down to the length of the lift and dog-leg to the right halfway up. Most riders of reasonable ability should handle it just fine.
- Long poma
- Snow park access
- Good option for Champagny
- The quietest lift in Bellecôte bowl
- Kick at the start
- Dog-leg might throw some
