The La Plagne lift company (SAP) has invested heavily in upgrading the lift network in recent years but there are still a few important téléski TK drag lifts dotted around the resort in places where chairs really wouldn’t be a practical choice.
While some of these lifts serve just La Plagne’s beginner green runs others like the Crêtes, Aollets, Dou du Praz and Col de Forcle are much under-used lifts that could save you queuing or that give access out to other areas. Below is the full range of drag lifts still used around the resort.

Quick tip: Even if you’re mainly using drag lifts, getting your skis or snowboard sorted before you travel makes life much easier. Booking online is usually cheaper, gives you a better choice of sizes and helps you get moving faster on day one.
That’s especially useful if you’re heading for beginner zones or quieter corners of the resort where drag lifts still play an important role.

Quick tip: Drag lifts might be short and simple, but accidents still happen. In France, rescue and evacuation costs can be charged to you, even on marked runs.
Good ski insurance helps cover medical treatment, lift evacuation and cancellation if something goes wrong before or during your trip.
