Champagny lift Verdons Sud
The Champagny lift Verdons Sud is a high-speed, detachable, 6-person chair that is used as an access to Plagne Centre and most of the skiing and snowboarding in the Grande Rochette sector of La Plagne plus the bulk of the riding back in the Champagny sector – including some of the best and most accessible La Plagne off-piste. It also accesses some of La Plagne’s best intermediate pistes and many of La Plagne’s best advanced runs.
Verdons Sud details
Rising around 650m in just over 5 minutes, the chair whisks riders from the valley floor up to the summit of Les Verdons, where there are numerous options for either riding back into the Champagny side on some great intermediate pistes or crossing over to Plagne Centre taking the Verdons blue or Mercédès black.
As with all lifts and runs in the Champagny sector, the views are dramatic over Grande Casse, Trois Vallées and the Pralognan-la-Vanoise valley – just remember to look behind you as you ride up 
. This is definitely one of La Plagne’s best view lifts.
