Champagny piste Boardercross
The Champagny boardercross is one of the easiest in La Plagne (there are two others located in the Montchavin sector and the Plagne Bellecôte / Roche de Mio sector) but still offers a fun distraction for those looking for something a little different while out riding. It’s also one of La Plagne’s best blue runs. If this kind of run is your thing, you could also try the La Plagne funslope, Europe’s longest and located just above Plagne Bellecôte accessed via the Arpette lift.
After a short, steep-ish pitch the track flows through around ten banked turns to the bottom. In its typical setup, there’s really only one jump on the course – and, even then, it’s more of a drop than a kicker. Still, the run is worth doing, particularly if you’re with competitive friends.
The boardercross piste rejoins the lower section of the Sérac blue and takes you right past Roc des Blanchets, one of the best on-hill restaurants in all of La Plagne before returning to the base of the Rossa high-speed chair.
