The Grande Rochette lift Biquet is a short drag lift, hidden behind Plagne Villages and serving a tiny beginners’ / kids’ area nestled between the trees. As it’s aimed at beginners, access is easiest on foot. Most skiers and snowboarders traverse past this area on the bottom section of the Mira blue – or avoid it all together on Bridge piste. In truth, there’s very little here and you’d be much better off trying to find a better novice area if you’re just starting out – for example, the excellent Boulevard or Baby beginner zones around Plagne Centre.

Pros
  • Total beginner area
  • Convenient for Villages
Cons
  • Unless you’re an absolute beginner, you won’t want to spend time on this lift or run
