The Grande Rochette lift Télébaby is an extremely short, traditional extending pole Poma drag lift on the Front de Neige of Plagne Centre. This lift runs very slowly with almost zero ‘kick’ when you get on – perfect for complete beginner skiers and snowboarders to get used to taking drag lifts and also practise their newly-found skills on the very short piste to the left. More accomplished riders will likely never need to take this lift – though it is one of La Plagne’s best beginner areas for those just starting out.

Pros
  • Great beginner area
  • Close by bars and restaurants
  • Easy lift to ride with zero kick
Cons
  • Even beginners will soon want to progress from this area
