Grande Rochette piste Boulevard

The Grande Rochette piste Boulevard blue run through Plagne Centre is one of La Plagne’s best beginner areas with a very gentle gradient and the fairly unique distinction of passing under an apartment block and a road bridge.
La Plagne intermediate piste Boulevard
Absolute beginners will likely enjoy the Boulevard run for its quirkiness as much as anything else. More accomplished riders will use it as a link between the lower runs in Plagne Centre and either the Bergerie chairlift or the runs down to Plagne 1800 (Les Mines red and Loup-Garou blue).
The run is served by the slow, fixed-grip Boulevard chair – a lift that passes impossibly close to the France apartment building – but another aspect of this run that makes it perfect for novice skiers and snowboarders.
- Close to bars, cafes etc
- Good beginner gradient
- Goes thru Plagne Centre
- Novelty of passing under the France building & a bridge
- Can get very busy
- Slow chair back up
- Not much in the way of scenery
