The area around the top of the Aollets poma is flat and wide open with runs crisscrossing in every direction. Of these, the Bridge piste will more than likely feel part of the longer Mira blue or Ramy blue runs – though, for some reason, it’s actually marked as a different run. Certainly, the majority of skiers and snowboarders taking Mira back down to Plagne Centre, end up on this piste as it feels the most natural extension of that main run.

The Bridge run gets busy – particularly over the holiday periods – as it forms part of the main route into Plagne Centre from Plagne Villages and Plagne Soleil (off the Bergerie chair) or Plagne Bellecôte (off the Colosses chair). If tricks are your thing, look out for the natural quarter pipes near the turning at the bottom into Centre.

Pros
  • Enjoyable short run
  • Interesting terrain
  • Sidehits – a lot of hits
  • Fun link run
  • Links Village to Centre
Cons
  • Gets very busy
  • Popular with ski schools
  • People stop everywhere
  • Funnel into Centre normally mogulled and full of very novice riders
